Mr. Taimur Malik

Taimur T. Malik is a Wall Street banker turned regenerative agriculture entrepreneur. He is the Head of Corporate Farming for The Thal Industries (Pakistan’s most progressive sugar milling industrials group) and the co-founder & Chief Pollinator of Pakistan’s pioneering large-scale regenerative farm, Drawdown Farm at Rahīmabad Estate. At Rahīmabad Estate, located in the Thal Desert, Taimur & his team have designed proprietary integrative & precision regenerative agricultural systems that convert pure desert sand into carbon rich soils, which are currently being deployed on thousands of acres. He is working with international investors on expanding these speedy and high yielding regenerative systems on very large acreages.

Taimur is an advisor on regenerative agricultural systems and biologicals for governments and large corporations. At The Thal Industries he is helping craft cutting edge bio-fertilizers from milling residues and abetting the creation of programs to enable tens of thousands of smallholder sugarcane farmers to adopt more regenerative practices. Taimur has also been an advisor to Pakistan’s Climate Change Minister & in 2018 co-authored Pakistan’s first Green Growth Plan with him. He is currently working on a book on the thesis for regenerative agriculture.
