Mr. Tyler Lycan

One Earth Future

Mr. Tyler Lycan works with One Earth Future’s Stable Seas program researching security and terrorism in the maritime environment. Before joining OEF, Mr. Lycan worked in Washington D.C. supporting WMD counterproliferation efforts. His research experience includes coups d’état, small arms trafficking, and central African security. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and his Master’s in International Security Studies at the University of St. Andrews. Mr. Lycan is a retired Naval Aviator of the U.S. Marines, and was the former dean of the Center for Naval Warfare Studies at the U.S. Naval War College.
