Dr. Jacqueline Vadjunec

Jacqueline is a human-environment geographer who draws on land system science, cultural and political ecology, and environmental governance theory using mixed and participatory methods to better understand agroecological vulnerability and resilience in the Americas. Jacqueline is currently a professor in the Department of Geography and Environmental Sustainability, and serves as an associate director for the Institute for Resilient Environmental and Energy Systems (IREES) at the University of Oklahoma. From 2018-220, Jacqueline served as a Program Officer at the National Science Foundation for Human-Environment and Geographical Sciences (HEGS), as well as various cross directorate activities.
