Ms. Dharni Grover

Dharni Grover is a PhD Student in the Department of Geography and Spatial Sciences, at the University of Delaware. Her research interests range from environmental justice, energy equity and low carbon planning, to diverse economies, the Anthropocene and political ecology. Her research is focused on theorizing if and investigating how the ongoing transition to renewable energy economy can be used as tool for promoting socioeconomic equity and justice globally. Her overarching doctoral work is aimed at studying the importance of the principles of equity and justice in the various means used to address climate change, including but not limited to low-carbon planning.
