Mr. Skip Maselli

Skip is Vice President at Pixxel Space Technologies. Over the past 38 years, he has led U.S. government and commercial programs developing, advancing and employing space and airborne remote sensing to support objectives in national security, environmental topics, and research and development. As an Army officer, he was assistant principal investigator on two Space Shuttle initiatives developing optical and hyperspectral sensors and analysis of complex remote sensing data. He has taught remote sensing, GIS, and image processing at the DoD, IC, collegiate, and federal agency levels. He holds an M.S. in Environmental Monitoring from the University of Wisconsin and a B.S. in Geology and Philosophy from Dickinson College. Skip is a member of the Janes Defense National Intelligence Advisory Board and USGIF Advisory Committee. Outside of the daily grind, Skip is a published poet, author, triathlete and father of two.
