Ms. Katie Zezima

Katie Zezima bring sixteen years of professional analytic experience including 13 years of experience using geospatial technology to support disaster response. She brings a comprehensive understanding of supporting data driven decisions at the state, regional and federal level. Katie has developed enterprise level policy and strategy, IT solutions, and governance for several Federal agencies including FEMA, Department of Homeland Security (DHS), National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), and Department of State. Katie led the geospatial recovery efforts after national level events such as 2013 Colorado floods, 2011 Tornado Super Outbreak in Alabama and Hurricanes Sandy, Isaac and Irene and has developed innovative analytic solutions such as Co-Founding the Mapgive effort at Department of State. Katie has a BA in Urban Planning and a Master of Arts in Geography from East Carolina University.
