Ms. Zola Manyungwa

Zola Manyungwa is the current YouthMappers Communications Specialist and is based at West Virginia University, where she is completing her MA in Geography and working as a Graduate Research Assistant. She is an Assistant Lecturer of Geographic Education at the University of Malawi and has been involved in YouthMappers for over six years. She served as the president of the University of Malawi's YouthMappers chapter for two years, was a YouthMappers Leadership Fellow in 2017, and has been a Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team (HOT) voting member since 2022. She is the co-founder of MapMalawi, a youth-based mapping group.
