Mr. Uttarkulam Sakhreliya

I'm Uttam Sakhreliya, currently pursuing my passion for Urban Analytics and Geodesign at Thomas Jefferson University. My journey began with a foundation in Geology from MSUB, India, where I cultivated a love for teaching as a Visiting Faculty. Seeking real-world application, I immersed myself in the industry as a Geodata Consultant at LTTS, earning accolades including a 'Spot Award' for excellence with Exxon Mobil. Transitioning to NeilsenIQ, I navigated complex data landscapes for Coca Cola, showcasing my leadership and earning rapid promotion to Senior Data Processing Specialist. This experience ignited my interest in GIS, realizing its power in transforming data into compelling visuals. I chose Thomas Jefferson University to advance my GIS skills, where I gained deeper expertise in site selection analysis, model builder to automate the process, network analysis, and business analytics. Building on these skills and my prior experience, I secured a graduate internship and now hold a position as a Geospatial Analyst at Penske Truck Leasing, where I work on EV routing analysis and territory management projects.
