Dr. Roger Grenier

Dr. Roger Grenier is Senior Vice President at Verisk and leads the Extreme Event Solutions Global Resilience Practice. In this role Roger oversees a number of areas including public risk strategy, resilience consulting projects and regulatory and rating agency engagements. He also contributes to climate change consulting and product initiatives.

Roger is trained as a civil engineer and has over 25 years of risk modeling experience, starting in the engineering consulting field and later in a variety of roles with Verisk, including research, consulting, and product management. Roger also spent 7 years in catastrophe management roles with a major global insurance company, including as Director of Catastrophe Research and Development.

Roger received his Ph.D. from North Carolina State University, an M.S. in Civil Engineering from Stanford University, and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Tufts University.
